The same convenience of the SousVide supreme but in a smaller appliance, the SousVide supreme demi water oven locks in the full, true flavors and preserves the nutritional quality of whatever you cook in it. Constructed from stainless steel, it features a shiny black exterior and a sleek all-in-one design. The sous vide cooking technique is a method of cooking foods in vacuum-sealed pouches by fully submerging them in a water bath at a constant temperature. Simple to operate with a push-button control, it has an LED digital display with a temperature range of 86 to 210 degrees Fahrenheit or 30 to 99 degrees Celsius, and a temperature control to one degree Fahrenheit or to 0.5 degrees Celsius. Energy-efficient and quiet, this water oven uses as much electricity as a 60W light bulb at 110 to 120 volts. It takes up the same amount of counter space as a crock pot, yet has a maximum cooking capacity of up to 8.7 liters. The SousVide supreme demi water oven is a time-saving, hands-off way to prepare delicious meals and its timer has a maximum range of 99 hours with an audible beep when time is up. Included with the oven is a cooking pouch rack, a user manual with 15 recipes, an instructional DVD, a detachable power cord, and a perforated bottom grill.
